Me

I'm Marissa Brotz, an NYC-based actor-singer, trained in both theatre and on-camera technique.

I grew up as a musical theatre performer in Sarasota, FL - a path I put on hold to earn my degree in Marketing from the University of Florida and pursue a career in creative advertising production. After moving to NYC in 2021, I began taking voice lessons after a 3-year hiatus. What was intended to be a hobby resparked a passion for the arts that had always been in me. Since then, I have been studying acting at T. Schreiber Studio, voice at John Tedeschi Studio, performing in short films, and singing in cabarets throughout NYC. 

I see my background in business and production as an asset where I can put my knowledge of the behind-the-scenes part of the industry into the on-camera and stage side where I belong.

In my free time, you can find me at Trader Joe's, collaging, cooking, in a group fitness class, or at my local laundromat!
